At 10:42 Engine 15-2 and Tanker 15-1 were dispatched to a multiple alarm fire in the 6000 block of the Susquehanna Trail in Delaware Township. Engine 15-2 served as the supply engine supplying Engine 9-1, while Tanker 15-1 shuttled multiple loads of water. The crew from Engine 15-2 assisted with fire attack until Command 9 evacuated all crews working interior. Crews then switched to a defensive attack. Company 15 personnel remained on the scene for several hours. While responding to this fire The 15 House was dispatched to a barn fire in Company 15’s first due along with mutual aid from company’s 2, 12, and 17. Units arrived on the scene to find a pile of chicken manure burning to the rear of the barn. After returning from the barn fire Company 15 members along with Northumberland Engine 73 stood by at station 15.
