At 22:59 The Milton Fire Department was dispatched to the 500 block of Mahoning Street in Milton Borough for a reported house fire. Chiefs 1502 and 1503 arrived to a smoke condition in the area. Chief 1503 took command and 1502 took interior operations. Upon doing a 360 it was confirmed a working fire in a second division bedroom. Command confirmed that all residents had been evacuated. Engine 15 arrived and brought its own water supply from the hydrant at Beaver Street and stretched the initial attack line to the second division. Upon making entry crews discovered hoarder conditions on the interior. A Second attack line was stretched to the attic to check for extension. Tower 15 arrived and laddered the structure, controlled utilities, and coordinated ventilation with the engine company. Command requested an additional truck and engine to the scene to assist with overhaul due to conditions. Engine 3-2 from Mifflinburg Hose Company and Ladder 73 from Northumberland Fire Department transferred to station 15. One resident and one firefighter were transported with injuries to local hospitals. Units on scene: Chiefs 1501 Stump, 1502 Lupo, 1503 Derr, Engines 15, 15-2 , Tower 15, Truck 2, Rescue 15, MICU 15, Ambulance 5-2, Traffic 15, Medic 60, Fire Police, and Milton Police Department. 23 Company 15 members responded.
