At 12:16 the Milton Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of North Front Street for smoke in the attic of a two story brick apartment building. MICU 15 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the eves, which led to the box being upgraded to bring additional mutual aide companies. Engine 15-2 arrived and laid a 5 inch supply line from the hydrant at N. Front and Locust Streets. The engine crew stretched a 1 3/4″ line to the attic and knocked the fire down. Truck 2-1 arrived and deployed multiple ground ladders and stretched a second line off engine 15-2 to the second division. Engine 9-1 laid a supply to truck 2-1. The crew’s from Engine’s 9-1 and 5-2 assisted with overhaul and salvage.
